How to measure: with your dog lying stretched out on their side, measure nose to base of tail, then add about 15 cm. If they're between sizes, go up — dogs sleep sprawled, not curled.

A cheap bed is cheap because it's stuffed with polyester that compresses flat within months — which is exactly the opposite of what a sore-jointed dog needs. Real orthopaedic foam costs more to make. We've built to the same standard as the premium brands and priced below them. Honest expectations — what to know before you buy
- It arrives compressed. Foam beds ship vacuum-rolled to keep freight affordable. Unroll it on arrival and allow 24–48 hours for the foam to reach full loft. A faint new-foam smell is normal and airs out within a few days.
- It is supportive, not chew-proof. No fabric bed is. If your dog destroys bedding, this one will not survive them either — chewing damage isn't covered by the guarantee.
- The cover washes; the foam does not. Unzip and machine wash the cover cold. Spot-clean the foam core only — never put memory foam through a washing machine.
- Sizing is on you, and we'd rather you got it right. Measure your dog before ordering. If you're unsure, email us the measurement and we'll tell you which size to take.
- It supports comfort; it does not treat disease. Orthopaedic foam relieves pressure on joints, which many owners of arthritic and senior dogs find helps. It is not a medical device and is not a substitute for veterinary care.

Which size should I choose?
Use the size guide above — measure nose to tail base and add 15 cm. When in doubt, size up. Almost every sizing complaint we see anywhere in this category is a bed bought one size too small.
Is it good for an older dog with sore joints?
That's what it's designed around. Memory foam distributes weight evenly instead of letting hips and elbows press into a hard floor, and many owners of senior dogs tell us getting up is easier as a result. It's a comfort product, not a treatment — if your dog is in pain, please see your vet.
What if my dog has accidents?
The waterproof liner sits between the cover and the foam, so nothing soaks through. Unzip the cover and machine wash it.
Will the foam flatten?
High-density memory foam is made to hold its structure under repeated compression far better than polyester wadding, which pancakes within a few months. Any foam softens gradually over years of use.
Does it slide on wooden floors?
No — the base is non-slip and grips floorboards and tiles.
