Choose the Button model if your routine is fixed and you're usually home. Choose Wi-Fi if you travel, work irregular hours, or want to feed and check in from your phone.
Honest expectations
This feeder is designed for dry kibble. Very large, irregularly shaped or semi-moist food can bridge in the chute. It is not suitable for wet food. The Wi-Fi model needs a 2.4GHz network — it will not connect to a 5GHz-only band.

It's designed for dry kibble. Standard dry biscuits dispense reliably; very large or semi-moist food can bridge in the chute.
What happens if the power goes out?
Battery backup keeps your schedule running through an outage, so meals still dispense on time.
Is it difficult to set up?
No. The button model is programmed directly on the unit in a few minutes. The Wi-Fi model pairs with the app over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and walks you through setup step by step.
Can my cat break into it?
The lid locks down and the hopper is sealed, which stops the determined lid-lifters. No feeder is completely cat-proof, but this one makes it hard work.
Do I need Wi-Fi for the button model?
No. The button model works entirely offline — no app, no network, no account.
